The Brief
Daniel Bentley Jewellery aimed to develop a user-friendly ecommerce website tailored specifically for schools and institutions interested in commemorating graduation milestones with bespoke jewellery.
The brief outlined the need for a welcoming public website that would serve as an informative hub for prospective schools, highlighting exclusive designs and encouraging visitors to explore further. Additionally, a private eCommerce section was to be created, accessible only via direct link, to facilitate individual school orders with personalised pages for reordering custom pieces.
The Solution
To fulfill the requirements, a holistic solution was developed. The public-facing website was designed to be inviting and informative, featuring detailed information about Symbols & Milestones' offerings and showcasing exclusive designs to entice prospective clients. This section was designed to encourage further exploration and facilitate appointment bookings.
In tandem, a private eCommerce section was implemented to streamline individual school orders. Each school received a dedicated page within this section, providing students, parents, and school staff with an intuitive platform for reordering custom jewellery pieces. The private nature of this section ensured confidentiality and exclusivity for each school.
